This Amazing Bay Area STEM School Assembly Will Get Your Students Excited for Science

The Perfect K-5 Science Assembly Program Features Magic, Crazy Experiments, Interactive Fun & More

Science is amazing, fun, and all around us! Many kids feel science is boring. Or that science is nothing but people in white coats working in labs. But science is more. So much more. Science is amazing, fun, and what makes our daily lives possible. And my STEM school assembly on science will turn your students into eager scientists!

I’m Bay Area science assembly performer Brian Scott. I’ve performed hundreds of amazing shows each year for schools, libraries, and other clients. Kids love my amazing magic. School faculty love how I integrate messages and lessons into my programs. But I don’t expect you to take my word for it.

Here’s what a past school client said after working with me:

"I would gladly have his production back on our campus. The primary students reactions to the tricks was a highlight -- they were blown away by the magic!"

Laura Clifford - Greenfield Union

That’s not the only one, either. Take a cruise through my site and you’ll find plenty of comments from thrilled past clients.

Why Teachers & Students Love This STEM School Assembly

My STEM/STEAM assembly “Baffling Science” will take your students on an amazing science adventure.

“Baffling Science” highlights scientific principles to explain the amazing magic I perform during the show. Kids will witness and participate in amazing magic routines and then help me reveal the scientific principles that make each routine possible.

I’ll also show magic tricks and science experiments side by side…and reveal how they’re different…Baffling Science takes the students on an adventure through the world of magic and has them find the answers to the question - What is Magic?

Magic is Science, Magic is Technology, Magic is Math, Magic is Reading, Magic is Theater and Magic is so much MORE. Students will learn how to even make some of that magic themselves as they discover how simple machines, theater, math, and even their imagination play a huge role in making the magic come to life.

This assembly features a ton of onstage volunteers and audience interaction. Best of all, the students will be able to go home and share that magic with their families and explain how and why those tricks work.

What STEM Science Experiments Will Our Students Experience?

Too many school assembly presenters in the Bay Area are hard to work with. Maybe their shows take too long to set up. Many performers are “Divas,” Now let’s get into the details. I’m sure you want to know exactly what will happen during the show. Here are a few highlights:

  • Students learn how to walk through a regular 8.5”x11” piece of paper…without ripping it while they do. Oh, and the school gets PDFs they can send to families so kids can do it at home.
  • Discover how to use a piece of paper to break a piece of wood.
  • The Dancing Ziplock Bag: A plastic Ziplock dances about, and your students learn how to make it themselves.
  • Optical illusions show how a picture can either be a dog or an old man.
  • And much more…

Why This is the Easiest Bay Area STEM/Science Assembly Program Ever

Let’s face it. The best science school assemblies aren’t worth bringing in if they are hard to host. Some assembly presenters want the star treatment, complete with a bowl of green M&Ms! But That’s not me. Not how I roll.

My goal is to be the easiest assembly presenter you ever meet. Here’s how:

  1. No Mess – Science can be messy! Some of the crazy science experiments on TV or YouTube look like a lot of fun. But the mess these experiments create isn’t worth the loooong cleanup. I chose my experiments because they are fun…and create ZERO mess!
  2. Self-Contained – The last thing you need to deal with is a demanding presenter. Nope, not me. I bring my own tables, sound system, and microphone. I don’t even need an electrical outlet, everything is battery powered (Though having one near by for back up is always good planning).
  3. Fast Set-Up – Your school probably uses your assembly area for many activities. Lunch, Phys-ed classes, and more are often held in the same area for many schools. So I designed my school assemblies to set up fast and break down even faster! I only need 30 minutes to set up and 20 minutes to clear out.

Let’s Bring Science Fun to Your Students!

Ready to connect? Need more information to show your committee? Simply fill out the Contact Form on this page. Or you can simply call me at (415) 999-7084. Don’t worry, I don’t turn in to “Mr. Sales Guy” on the phone! We’ll just talk about your school and your needs.

Here’s the bad news.

For the last 30+ years, I’ve been one of the busiest magicians in the Bay Area. I perform 200-300 shows each year. So my schedule is often full weeks or months ahead of time. To avoid losing your preferred date, contact me today while you’re thinking about it.

I look forward to hearing from you soon!
