When looking for the best Northern California elementary school, middle school, or high school assemblies, you have three major criteria:
I’m Brian Scott, a Bay Area based school assembly performer. For the last 30+ years, I’ve performed engaging and fun assembly programs, library shows, and other events across California.
Teachers and school administrators love my programs just as much as the students. Here is what one past client said:

And there are plenty more, too. The key to my success? Making sure my programs tick all three of the above criteria. Miss any one of those points and you have students bored or teachers feeling like they’ve wasted their time.
Here’s how I balance all three requirements…
The best school assembly presenters know you can’t do the same show for younger grades as older students. Kids of different ages are at different developmental levels. Their cognitive functions advance as they get older.
My assemblies reflect these changes. When performing for elementary school students, my programs are fun, colorful, and slightly goofy. For high schools, I take a different approach, treating the students with more maturity. Since middle school students have one foot in each, I perform more seriously…but still slightly goofy.
Schools are busy! It’s hard to justify pulling students out of classes for a program. Most of the time, the assemblies need educational content. My program topics are perfect for Bay Area schools.
I offer the following topics for all grade levels:
Have you ever seen an assembly where the students were disengaged? To hold the attention of 400-500 students at a time, I don’t just talk to the kids. My assemblies are filled with magic, interactive fun, grade-appropriate humor, and much more.
Kids of all ages enjoy magic. The best part? Each magic effect I use directly illustrates or reinforces the educational points in my programs. Your students laugh, clap, and pay attention…not realizing they’re learning the entire time!
You have enough to worry about in your day. The last thing you need is a presenter who expects the ‘star treatment’ when they arrive. You know the ones: they expect a certain brand of bottled water waiting for them and a list of demands that would make Beyonce blush!
Me? I’m the opposite. I bring everything I need to perform an amazingly fun, educational program. Give me a performance space and I’m set!
